Maurices to open at Northpark Mall

National clothing store Maurices will open at Northpark Mall in late June or early July, the mall anounced Monday.

The store will be located on the upper level near the Belk wing.

The Livingston Farmers Market at the corner of Highways 463 and 22 will open May 17 for its second season. The outdoor market will be open every Thursday from June 2 to Oct.

The HomeGoods store in Madison is officially open.

Doors opened at the store in the Forum at Grandview on April 29.

HomeGoods offers home fashions at 20-60 percent off department store prices, according to its website.

The Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership and the Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce celebrated the ribbon cutting of Digital Systems in Ridgeland Wednesday.

Owners Mike and Tanya McRee and team specialize in home theaters, sound systems and home automation systems.

Digital Systems is located at 221 Sunnybrook Road in Ridgeland.

Metropolitan Bank opens new Mississippi headquarters in Ridgeland

Metropolitan Bank opens new Mississippi headquarters in Ridgeland

Metropolitan Bank has opened its new Mississippi headquarters in the Township at Colony Park in Ridgeland.

The bank was already co-headquartered in Ridgeland, but needed a bigger space, according to a news release.

The newly built 15,550-square-foot headquarters is home to Metropolitan’s executive offices, including commercial and personal banking, and mortgage lending. The new office currently employs 19 associates.

The exterior of the building was designed by the late Michael Barranco and Dale Partners Architects.
