Bikes for Barks ladies' cycling event Saturday in Ridgeland
The Bikes for Barks ladies' cycling event is coming up Saturday at 7: 30 p.m. in Ridgeland.
The ride will benefit Community Animal Rescue & Adoption -- a no-kill animal shelter in Jackson.
The event will feature three course distances along the Natchez Trace and surrounding roads for all cycling skill levels -- 15 mile, 30 mile and 62 mile.
CARA will have dogs available for adoption at the post-ride party from 10 a.m. to 1 :30 p.m.
The Bike Crossing, located at 115 W. Jackson St., in Olde Town Ridgeland will host the event.
