2 arrested, 1 sought in Ridgeland apartment burglary | Crime

RIDGELAND, MS (WLBT) - One man and a juvenile are in custody and another juvenile is being sought following a residential burglary in Ridgeland Tuesday night.
Ridgeland police say 20-year-old Christopher D. Rhymes and a 16-year-old boy, both of Ridgeland, have been charged with one count of residential burglary. Another 16-year-old male suspect remains at large.
Police were called to a disturbance at the Northbrook Apartments located at 107 Pine Knoll Drive around 7:30 Tuesday night. A man identified himself as the victim of a residential burglary.
The victim told police he got a call from a neighbor telling him his apartment at the Baymeadows Apartments located at 110 Pine Knoll Drive was being burglarized. The man discovered several electronic devices missing from his apartment.
The man got a description of the suspects and located them at the Northbrook Apartments. When he approached the suspects they reportedly fled on foot just prior to law enforcement arrival.
Police located two of the three suspects. Police found several electronics in the suspects’ apartments during a search.
Rhymes is being held at the Madison County Detention Center with no bond. The juvenile was transferred to a youth detention center.
Additional burglary and weapons charges may be filed.
